Business Development Manager

The purpose of this job description is to communicate the responsibilities and duties associated with the position of Business Development Manager (Truefense). The Business Development Manager position is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing business opportunities across the Pakistan and US markets for Truefense. This role manages client relationships, builds pipelines, coordinates with pre-sales and delivery teams, and ensures sales targets and service-level expectations are met while representing Truefense’s cybersecurity offerings.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of B2B sales experience in technology, IT security, or managed services; experience with US market preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing sales cycles end-to-end.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; comfortable with US and local business etiquette.
  • Familiarity with CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales automation tools; strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to engage with US clients when required and travel as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Identify, research, and target prospective clients in Pakistan and the US (CIOs, CISOs, IT Directors, Founders).
  • Develop and execute outbound outreach campaigns via email, LinkedIn, cold calls, and events.
  • Cultivate and maintain partnerships with vendors and channel partners to generate leads.
  • Attend industry events and networking activities to build brand presence and pipeline.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting and discovery to proposal, negotiation, and closure.
  • Lead client meetings, product demos, and technical handoffs with pre-sales teams.
  • Prepare and present commercial proposals, Statements of Work (SOW), and Bills of Materials (BOM).
  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and act as the primary point of contact for commercial matters.
  • Work closely with Pre-Sales, Technical, Delivery, and Marketing teams to tailor solutions and responses to RFPs/RFQs.
  • Coordinate PoCs, demos, and technical evaluations and ensure smooth transition from sales to implementation.
  • Provide market feedback to product and engineering teams to influence offerings and pricing.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity and activity records in CRM and ensure pipeline hygiene.
  • Report on sales metrics, forecasting, and performance to the Head of Sales regularly.
  • Set and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets; develop territory and account plans.
  • Represent Truefense professionally at all times and adhere to company policies and ethical sales practices.
  • Stay current with cybersecurity trends, compliance requirements, and competitive landscape in both markets.
  • Support marketing initiatives with case studies, references, and customer success narratives.

SOC Manager

The purpose of this job description is to outline the responsibilities and duties of the SOC Manager position. The role focuses on managing and strengthening Trufense’s Security Operations Center (SOC) to ensure seamless, proactive, and efficient cybersecurity monitoring and incident response operations. The SOC Manager will lead a high-performing team, implement effective processes, and maintain customer satisfaction through service excellence and compliance with best industry practices.

Supervisor: Head of Security Operations / CTO
Location: Karachi (Onsite)

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in SOC or information security operations.
  • 5+ years of experience supervising and managing SOC or cybersecurity teams.
  • Proven hands-on expertise in intrusion detection, threat management, and incident handling.
  • Advanced understanding of SIEM technologies such as Splunk ES, QRadar, Sentinel, or Elastic
  • Experience in designing, building, and managing multi-tenant Security Operations Centers (SOC).
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, EDR, and SOAR solutions.
  • Relevant professional certifications (preferred):
    SANS GIAC (GCIH, GCIA, GMON, GCED, GCDA, GPEN, GWAPT, GCFA, GCFE, GNFA, GREM) CISSP / CISM or equivalent cybersecurity certifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Plan, direct, and manage day-to-day activities across the Security Operations Centre
  • Coordinate 24x7 staffing, incident response, and surge support to ensure operational continuity.
  • Ensure effective resource allocation and initiate corrective action when required
  • Drive implementation and improvement of SOC tools, capabilities, frameworks, and methodologies.
  • Reinforce best practices in incident response, threat detection, knowledge management, and SOC operations.
  • Lead strategic initiatives for automation and continuous process improvement.
  • Oversee detection, triage, analysis, and mitigation of cybersecurity incidents.
  • Provide Incident Response (IR) support when analysis confirms actionable events.
